Ladies’ Equine Getaway

Do you keep reading about these exciting horsey camps aimed for children, but you wish you could join in on the fun too?

Avoca Park have created our Ladies Equine Getaway aimed at any horse mum that wants to spoil themselves! Our 3-day (2 night) holiday will give you the opportunity to indulge in horse activities, relax with like-minded people and have some quality homemade meals made for you (for a change)

Bring your own horse and any extra wine you’d like but leave your kids at home! This holiday is to spoil you! All participants must be a minimum of 18 years old.

School horses may be available to hire if they are available and not booked in term commitments. An assessment lesson prior to the ladies weekend is necesary. Riders must also be confident in walk trot and canter if riding a school horse. Horse hire Fee is $110 p/hr.

Price inclusive of:

3 x 1 hour Lessons with EA Level 3 Dressage and Licensed Level 1 Legerete Teacher Leanne Williams.

2 Nights accommodation (bedding provided)

6 Meals

& your horse’s yard.

(You must supply your own feed and hay).

(limit of 8 participants per holiday)

Itinerary

Friday:

3pm-5pm - Arrival, settle in horses, unpack floats & belongings

6pm - Cocktails served at 6pm.

7pm – Variety of Woodfire Pizzas will be served, followed by a seasonal fruit platter.

Outdoor Fire available

Riders may use the arenas on Friday afternoon if they wish to have a ride after they settle in or you can book an additional lesson.

Saturday:

Continental Breakfast in the Bunkhouse.

9am- Dressage lesson – Group 1

10am-Dressage lesson – Group 2

11.45am – All riders will ride down to the Memorial reserve for their picnic lunch.

12pm- Horses tied up to a hitching rail while you enjoy the scenery and picnic with assorted wraps, dips & crackers, seasonal fruit & homemade banana cake.

1pm – All riders mount and ride up to our Mountain Trails course.

3.00pm- Ride back to the yards.

4pm- A cheese platter will be served.

5pm – Enjoy the spa, with views of the stables, or stay on the deck and enjoy horsey conversation with your fellow lady comrades.

6.30pm- Dinner will be served with a choice of Salmon or Chicken Snitzel accompanied with wine, followed by GF Decadent Chocolate cake with ice-cream.

Sunday:

Continental Breakfast in the Bunkhouse.

10am- Cavalletti & Jumping Lesson – Group 1

11am- Cavalletti & Jumping Lesson – Group 2

12.30pm – Focaccias

The weekend was well organised, and Leanne added a wonderful homely welcome and atmosphere.

Horses relaxed, the indoor arena and lessons were a great experience for myself and my horse.

The ladies that went were great company, the pizzas delicious and every effort was made to meet dietary requirements. Cocktails awesome and we were able to bring extra bubbles to enjoy, recommend the ladies getaway!
