Stable Manager
Hours: Full-time
Days: Weekdays and occasional weekends
Reports to: Director - Leanne Williams
Duties include
Standard stablehand duties – cleaning boxes, feeders, waters, and troughs, making feeds and feeding horses, rug changes, preparing competition and training horses for workouts.
Organising farrier, dentist, body workers, FEC tests
Adjusting horse feeds in consultation with Leanne Williams
Organising feed orders and stocktake
Organising rug repairs and washing
Documenting Horses in Training progress
Assisting Leanne with Horses in Training
Roster, organise, induct, and mentor stablehands, junior stablehands, and volunteers
Liaise with Admin Team to organise school horses for lessons
Must haves
Previous experience in this role
Passion for classical dressage principles
Working with Children Check
Driver’s license
Reliable car
Pay: Dependant on experience
EA Qualified Coach (or Trainee)
Hours: Part-time
Days: Weekends or Weekdays available
Reports to: Head Coach
Duties include
Running private and small group lessons for children and adults
Supervising junior team members on weekends
Trainees will be required to study the EA qualifications – Introductory Horse Management, Introductory Horse Riding, and Introductory Coaching
Must haves
Passion for classical dressage principles
EA Coaching Qualification (or willing to obtain)
Working with Children Check
Driver’s license
Reliable car
Pay: Dependant on experience
Senior Stablehand (18+yrs)
Hours: Part-time/Full-time
Days: Weekdays and occasional weekends
Reports to: Stable Manager & Director - Leanne Williams
Duties include
Cleaning boxes, feeders, waters, and troughs
Making feeds and feeding horses
Rug changes
Preparing competition and training horses for workouts
Assisting Leanne with Horses in Training
Leading horses to and from paddocks
Saddling horses for lessons
Will be required to complete the EA Introductory Horse Management Course
Must haves
Passion for classical dressage principles
Working with Children Check
Driver’s license
Reliable car
Pay: Dependant on experience
Junior Stablehand (15-17yrs old)
Hours: Part-time
Days: Weekdays and Weekends
Reports to: Stable Manager
Duties include
Cleaning boxes, feeders, waters, and troughs
Making feeds and feeding horses
Rug changes
De-cobwebbing & mopping tackrooms
Leading horses to and from paddocks
Grooming and saddling horses for lessons
Saddling horses for lessons
Will be required to complete the EA Introductory Horse Management Course
Must haves
Saturday & Sunday availability between 7:30am-5:30pm (half day shifts at least once a weekend)
Available during school holidays to assist with our school holiday programs

Reliable transportation
Pay: Dependant on age and experience
Junior Maintenance (15-17yrs old)
Hours: Part-time
Days: Saturdays and some days during school holidays
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Duties include
Painting
Raking
Empty horse waste trailers
Filling feeds bins
Gardening
Paddock maintenance
Must haves
Reliable transportation
Pay: Dependant on age and experience
Volunteer Program
Hours: Part-time
Days: Weekdays/Weekends/School Holidays
Reports to: Stable Manager
Duties include
Cleaning boxes, feeders, waters, and troughs
Making feeds
De-cobwebbing & mopping tackrooms
Grooming and saddling horses for lessons
Will be required to complete the EA Introductory Horse Management Course
Must haves

All new employees start on the Introductory pay rate in the Amusement, Events, and Recreation Award for a maximum of 3 months.
