Price to agist spelling horses in turn out paddocks

Santa is a 12.2hh flashy chestnut little man with a lovely blaze and cream socks. He was born in 1994, and although he may sound old he is young at heart. On loan to us from a longstanding client, he has been thoroughly loved and enjoyed for 15 years by all of her daughters. He is a good fit for riders that feel that they need a well-educated pony to extend their knowledge. He went to Grade 3 Pony club and competed up to State Champs for Jumping and Dressage. He is a forward moving, kind little lad that appreciates light hands and instruction from his rider. Ideal for our confident but petite riders.

    Feed Fee

**All prices listed above do not include our “Feed Fee”. Avoca Park uses our Feed Analysis Calculator to calculate the exact cost of feeding each horse on site. We do not charge any more than our cost price.

Our cost of feed is variable depending on the type of horse, because we agist and train all types of horses, at all stages of fitness. This includes different breeds from riding ponies at competition fitness to recently agisting an underweight Percheron, rescued from a drought effected area. When a horse comes onto our property, we will provide full care and maintain all aspects of feeding. Leanne Williams is very fortunate she is able to attend Carol Layton’s Nutrition Workshop, hosted annually at Avoca Park, so she is an excellent judge of the best feed for your horse.

The average horse at Avoca Park costs $49 to feed each week on our regular feed. The price is variable depending on feed prices and your horse’s individual needs. You are welcome to view a copy of our feed analysis document at any time while your horse is at Avoca Park to explain our cost of “Feed Fee”.
