Our Level 1 General Riding Course expands on what you’ve learned in our Introductory Riding, giving you a deeper understanding of riding correct Dressage, Show Jumping & Cross Country.

Topics Covered:

Unit 1 - General Riding Principles

Unit 2 - Dressage

Unit 3 - Show Jumping

Unit 4 - Cross Country

Estimated Study Time: 10 hours video education. To participate in the assessment a further 30 hours is recommended. This time frame can be different from person to person.

You will have availability of a private communal Facebook group where questions can be asked and discussions had.

Optional practical sessions will be available on the first Sunday in March, June & September.

Assessments: For participants wanting to take part in the Equestrian Australia final assessment a manual will need to be purchased from Equestrian Australia. Please follow the link HERE.

Age Stipulation: There is no age stipulation for this course, but it is advised that participants have completed our Introductory Riding course prior to commencing this course.

Enhanced skills: Develop advanced riding techniques specific to Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country, refining your abilities in each discipline.

Thrilling challenges: Experience the thrill of developing confidence in dressage movements, show jump rounds and through cross country courses.

Expert guidance: Benefit from Leanne and her experience in dressage, show jumping, jumping equitation and cross country. She will use her experience as an elite competitor, representation of Australia, Level 3 coaching skills and her Legerete license in all aspects of your education.

Comprehensive education: Receive a well-rounded education in equestrian riding covering everything you will need to know for a successful outcome with assessments.

Internationally recognized qualification: Completing the Level 1 General Riding course and passing the assessment successfully earns you an Internationally recognised qualification, validating your skills and knowledge in dressage, show jumping and cross country riding.
